Welcome to Pleasant Cottage - a peaceful, pastel hideaway in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Centrally located, just 20 minutes from Ann Arbor and 40 minutes from Detroit.
My husband, Scott, and I love hosting guests in our quiet neighborhood! We live locally, and enjoy exploring all the incredible dining options in Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor. We love to travel ourselves, but we also love to be homebodies.
Normal Park is a charming residential neighborhood in the heart of Ypsilanti, Michigan, within walking distance of multiple parks and recreation trails, treasure-filled vintage shops, locally-owned restaurants and coffee shops, craft beer and cocktails, local grocery and farmers markets, and so much more. The neighborhood is accessible by car, foot, or bike. There is private parking on the premises for four cars, and street parking in the neighborhood is free as well. Close by is I-94, which will take you to Ann Arbor and Detroit. Detroit Metro Airport is 25 minutes away. If you're getting around without a car, there is a bus service with nearby stops, and multiple ride share services are available.
