The story of the Flying Dutchman goes back to the seventeenth century, with a ship chartered by the Dutch East India Company. The ship achieved a real feat: the journey between the Netherlands and the island of Java in Indonesia in only three months. It was said that he flew over the sea to go so fast. Coming from just a small country, we feel as a family still the same strong urge to explore and discover the world nowadays. We welcome you to our cottage, and hope this is a great base to explore the beauty of the Poconos!

Guests can access in-community amenities by car. There is a fee of eight dollars which guests pay directly at the Administrative/POC office. This fee is NOT mandatory and only applicable to the guests who want to use the following amenities: • Pools • Beach at Westalong Lake • Fitness Center • Masthope Stables • Miniature Golf, Cornhole, & Horseshoes • Sports Courts-tennis, handball, basketball volleyball, bocce, shuffleboard (equipment available for rent at pool gate or Marketplace) • Masthope River Park on the Delaware – BBQs, children’s play area, picnic tables, river access Amenity Fees DO NOT INCLUDE Skiing/snowboarding/tubing.
