We have owned the Inn for 11 years and love interacting with our guests. Much of the produce we serve is grown on the property, and meats and cheeses are locally sourced. We offer exceptional concierge service and know many of the chefs and winemakers personally.

The Gables Wine Country Inn is located in the heart of Sonoma County, just south of Santa Rosa. We offer our guests exceptional concierge services along with an amazing 3-course breakfast, a welcome glass of wine upon arrival and our Wine Passport provides enhanced tasting experiences to 15 exceptional Sonoma County wineries. We offer in room messages for singles and couples. For groups of 6 or more, we offer a unique wine pairing dinner featuring any number of our favorite local wineries. (This takes preparation, so a few weeks notice is required.) The Gables Inn is great place to relax and get away. We have a Gothic Victorian, circa 1877, on 3+ acres with a vineyard, lavender field, citrus tress, vegetable gardens and 5 towering redwood trees with a deck and fire pit in the center. It’s a magical place to sit and end the day with a glass of Sonoma County wine. Stroll the vineyard and witness the process of the grapes from bud break to harvest. We have one of the oldest standing redwood barns in Sonoma County, Circa 1850s, home to our resident barn owl and a cat named Boots. What are your favorite things to do in our beautiful backyard?⁠ Our location offers access to boundless recreational activities and inspiring natural attractions throughout Sonoma County with a plethora of fun activities including bicycling through the vineyards, hiking the redwoods, horseback riding, zip-lining through the tree tops, ballooning, floating the Russian River, walking the many beaches, The Charles Schulz “Snoopy” museum or just taking a leisurely drive to the ocean. Looking for a full spa experience check out the Osmosis Spa in Freestone and their featured Cedar Bath. Dining here is a true experience with some of the best restaurants around like Ca’ Bianca, Walter Hansel, Valette, Bird and the Bottle, Willi’s Wine Bar and River’s End. We are in an agricultural area, but only 3 miles from downtown Santa Rosa. The Inn is within 25 miles of everything; wineries, world class restaurants, the ocean, the Russian River and Redwood forests.
