Secluded wilderness luxury, The Lodge is a Canton cabin located on 88 acres of land in the Blue Ridge Mountains and is surrounded by rushing river sounds, beautiful trees, and stunning trailheads. Rustic yet updated, the cabin's wood-lined interior is fully updated and splashed with sunshine. Under vaulted ceilings, enjoy preparing delicious dishes in the gourmet kitchen, complete with a full suite of stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a vast amount of utensils and kitchenware. After a day spent exploring the great outdoors, cozy up in front of the living room's wood stove - a cup of cocoa in hand and nature views filling your vision. The Lodge's size makes it perfect for family vacations, celebrations, ceremonies, and retreats. A game table, and a large TV offer fabulous entertaining options, and the home's well-stocked library has novels that'll interest every member of the family. The cabin's sleeping quarters are equally plush, lined with soft linens and comfortable mattresses. The retreat's amenities extend to a private washer/dryer, partial air-conditioning, and internet access. The Lodge includes an outdoor pavilion, playfully named Cookout Cove. This newly furnished open-air area is perfect for outdoor fun and relaxation! It features an inviting wood-burning fireplace, ideal for cozy gatherings under the covered pavilion. Enjoy a delicious barbecue with the gas grill, and dine al fresco at the outdoor dining table. For entertainment, challenge your friends and family to a game of darts or explore other available games. Cookout Cove promises a delightful blend of leisure and excitement, ensuring a memorable stay for everyone. When exploring the area, be sure to check out the Cradle of Forestry Overlook, Sliding Rock, the Cradle of Forestry in America Museum, State Rock Creek, and Springdale Resort. The Blue Ridge Parkway is only seven miles away and sports 469 miles of scenic views of the Appalachian Highlands.

No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Air conditioning is only available in certain parts of the home. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximun occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices -not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
