Welcome to our peaceful mushroom-themed getaway. - Enjoy Mountain views, sunshine, and the peaceful sounds and views of the Spring Creek. - Large deck with hammock and patio furniture - ¼ private trail to the Appalachian Trail - ½ mi walk to town (sidewalks) | ¼ mi walk to the Smokey Mount Dinner - Hike to Max Patch: 14.06 miles hiking 2966 ft elevation. Many other trails w/in 10 min drive - Float the Frenchboad River - Bring your fishing rod or motorcycle - Fast Wifi The space BEDROOM: -Queen bed -Reading lights -White noise machine -Section 9 Whitewater Rafting Map -Dresser -Mini-split for Heat/AC -Blackout Curtains LIVING/DINING: -Loveseat/sleeper sofa (cozy for 2) -TV: HBO Max & Amazon Prime for Movies/Shows! -Local Hiking Maps -Two Reading Chairs - Sunlight & Mountain Views KITCHEN: -Full Kitchen -Fridge w/ freezer -Microwave -Coffee Pot and Grounds BATHROOM -Shower -Towels + hairdryer DECK -Patio Furniture - table & chairs -Hammock -River sounds -Mountain views OUTSIDE -Private Trail to AT -Large field -Fire Pit PARKING: up to 2 cars HEATING/AIR: Mini-Splits with remote WE LIVE UPSTAIRS: This space is entirely separate with its own entrance. It is worth mentioning that Chili and I do live upstairs. We’ve never had any issues but thought it worth sharing upfront. There are two layers of soundproofing and insulation between the floors, and we provide a white noise machine for your added comfort. ADDITIONAL GUESTS: If you have more than 2 in your group wanting to stay, we also offer camping in the field. There is a pull-out couch if you have one (possibly two) adults, or kids. - Please ask if you’re interested. HOSTED BY: Scott and Chili - dedicated to providing 5-star stays. Hot Springs is a secret jewel in the Appalachians. For a nature lover, it is a perfect home and playground. Whether it is hiking, whitewater, cycling, fishing, foraging, motorcycle riding, or just enjoying the healing properties of our natural hot spring, this is truly a special place.
