That’s right! The Trail City Bed and Breakfast is actually a renovated saloon that was built circa 1885 in Trail City, Colorado. The building was moved across the border to Coolidge, Kansas (its present location) in approximately 1887. In 2011 Proprietors Larue Lennen and Lori Lennen purchased and renovated the historic building to provide a luxurious western living experience for their guests.

Today a bed and breakfast, yesteryear a saloon and gambling hall. Trail City Bed and Breakfast is a renovated saloon that was built c1885 in Trail City, Colorado.We have four rooms in the Trail City Bed & Breakfast and two Montana Lodge Pole pine cabins. The Lodge Pole Pine Logs originated in the Western slopes of Montana. The scent of the log pine is an amazing natural sleeping aide. The trapezoid windows are experienced from the loft and provide a Kansas morning sunrise that is food for the soul.

We’re glad you stopped by. Our goal is to provide you a one-of-a-kind vacation experience. We’re proud of our town, historic sites, history and attractions which all add up to make Coolidge Kansas a great vacation destination. The city of Coolidge was named after Thomas Jefferson Coolidge, the former president of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. Coolidge was the last stop in Kansas on the Santa Fe trail which was made famous through railroad travel in the late 19th century.
