Enjoy it each day on 20 acres of walking trails, including five acres of rhododendron thicket. The wooded hills above take you to the top of the northern edge of Beech Mountain. In the winter, you'll be ideally located for sledding, tubing, and skiing at Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain; come summer, you'll enjoy world-class hiking and mountain biking, great breweries and wineries, as well as nearby festivals and concerts Inside, you'll find incredible mountain views from every room, hardwood floors, and abundant natural light as it pours in the large picture windows. Snuggle up together in front of the gas fireplace in the living room while you stream the latest release and whip up your favorite meals in the full, well-equipped kitchen. Challenge your friends and family to a game of chess; read a book from the small library provided; and keep dinner simple with the gas grill and an alfresco meal on the deck. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximun occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices -not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
