Tahoe Donner is the place to be for year-round vacation fun. Make the trip to Northstar, Squaw Valley, or Alpine Meadows resorts for a day of downhill skiing or snowboarding. Or, in the summer, take a short, scenic drive (less than 22 miles) to the shores of Lake Tahoe and one of the sandy beaches at Kings Beach or Carnelian Bay.
