It’s our sincere hospitality that sets us apart from a traditional hotel or hostel. Twenty years ago, I moved from the countryside to Hanoi and opened my first little guesthouse; now my two adult children and I have newer and nicer homes in a neighborhood that we love. We've become a part Hanoi’s busy city life, yet we've kept our countryside values and traditions. Everyone is welcome at our home and no one is ever hungry. When you stay with us, you are not just a tourist, you are a family friend. This is how we run our homestay and we invite you to experience Hanoi with us from a very local point of view. We may invite you to stay for dinner or go out for an evening beverage. We will strive to make you feel that you’re a part of our family.

This is a private residential home located down a quiet alley. The house has a total of four rooms. We're conveniently located within easy walking distance of many of Hanoi's iconic tourism sights: Train Street, Food Street, Beer Street, Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword Lake), the Turtle Tower, Ma May Ancient House, the Thang Long Citadel, the Vietnamese Women's Museum, the Water Puppet Theater, and much more. When you stay in one of our spacious, comfortable rooms, you will have everything you need - a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries, air conditioning and heat, a flat-screen television, wireless internet, coffee and tea, and more. All rooms can comfortably accommodate three people. Children are always welcome here! All rooms include our genuine hospitality. In the morning, we'll prepare a fresh and hearty breakfast for you - your choice of Vietnamese or Western. The real treat, though, is in the evening, when we may invite you to share our dinner! Enjoy traditional Vietnamese food with our family and guests in a busy and festive atmosphere.

Note that check-in and breakfast are at Hanoi Family Homestay, 81C Ly Nam De Street. Serenity Home 2 is just a few meters behind the main building. We will take you there when you check in. You'll want to walk to explore Hanoi's Old Quarter, and our location is perfect, with most of the city's attractions less than 15 minutes away by foot. Train Street and Food Street are a five-minute walk away, as well as some of the best street food in the city. We are happy to assist you with finding your way around, arranging any tours that you might want to take, and we'll give you a paper map of the Old Quarter upon request. We look forward to being your home in Hanoi.
