14 Penguin Place is matchless and unique in the sense that it is situated right on the beach front. All it takes is a leisurely stroll down the garden path to get on to the beach. Close your eyes and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the breakers at night.

The beauty of Melkbosstrand lies in that while retaining its small village feel, it offers many big city comforts,
e g a beautiful shopping mall called The Birkenhead Centre. Here one would find Pick and Pay, Clicks, Pep Stores, Postnet, walk-in branches of Absa and Standard Bank and many more. Melkbosstrand is home to a number of highly-acclaimed restaurants. The village is self-contained in the sense that it is rarely necessary for visitors to venture further afield to buy supplies.
