27 Hilltops is a modern, spacious owner run family home situated at the very top of Knysna Heights. Panoramic views from two full length decks to the Knysna Lagoon and Heads, and towards the Outeniqua mountains with stunning sunsets make this property unique. There are 3 well appointed and tastefully decorated bedrooms, all with excellent views as well as high quality beds, bedding and towels. Two bedrooms have ceiling fans and private decks with umbrellas for shade. The main bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower. The other bedrooms share a family bathroom with bath and shower. The second bedroom can be configured with 2 single beds or a king bed. The third bedroom has a double bed. An upstairs lounge area leads onto a balcony with beautiful views towards the Heads. The ground floor has an open plan kitchen and dining room leading to an outdoor dining area with braai facilities. The comfortable and welcoming lounge has a large central fireplace. A cloakroom and guest toilet complete the picture. The house is equipped with high speed Internet and a large flat screen TV. Steps lead down to a beautiful terraced garden planted with indigenous plants and fynbos.

We enjoy meeting and talking to our guests while we respect their privacy to make them feel at home and comfortable during their stay. We are keen hikers and cyclists and enjoy music, travel and adventure. We are happy to share our knowledge and can recommend places, activities, events and restaurants in the local area or further route planning. We can make restaurant bookings if required. As we live on the property we are generally available to assist and to help you enjoy your stay.
Knysna Heights is a very quiet residential neighbourhood yet within walking distance to the local attractions of Knysna- the Waterfront and Thesen Island for boat trips on the lagoon or out through the Heads into the Indian ocean for whale and dolphin watching, and excellent restaurants. The hilly suburb is safe to walk around and it offers elevated views of the surrounding lagoon and mountains and frequent sightings of the Knysna loerie in the wooded valleys. Supermarkets and speciality shops are within a few minutes drive as are the well worth a visit Knysna museum, Old Gaol and churches.
The famous Knysna, Simola and Pezula golf courses are a short drive away as are the several blue flag beaches at Leisure isle, Buffels Bay, Noetzie, and Brenton on Sea. Coastal nature reserves, the lakes area at Sedgefield and the famous Knysna forest offer interesting sightseeing opportunities, The Friday food and craft market and various weekend farmers' markets are worth visiting.
