The property is situated in a well appointed apartment on the 6th floor of the Nautica Complex, which is located across the road from the Bloubergstrand Beach. The apartment has superb views of Table Mountain, the Atlantic Ocean and Robben Island which can be seen from the patio and in the whale season you may see the occasional pods of whales which visit Table Bay and more abundant are the dolphins which swim up and down the coast. The apartment is self catering with a fully fitted kitchen, containing everything needed to prepare home cooked meals. There is a laundry on the ground floor equipped with two large washing machines and tumble driers. The two bedrooms comprise a main with a queen sized bed and and the en suite bathroom has a shower, toilet and hand basin. The view of Table Mountain and the ocean from this bedroom is spectacular. The second bedroom has two single beds and an adjoining bathroom with a bath tub, toilet and hand basin. The living area has a comfortable lounge with a Smart TV, free uncapped WiFi and DSTV. There is a dining area and a breakfast counter. The complex has a communal swimming pool and barbecue area and a free secure private parking garage.

Val and Adrian are relatively new arrivals to Cape Town, having emigrated from Zimbabwe to the fair Cape in 2013. Coming from a landlocked country several hundred miles away from the nearest coastline to living within a couple of kilometers from sea has been a wonderful experience. With both of us enjoying the outdoors, walks on the beach are a big part of our lives. Adrian enjoys playing a regular game of golf, whilst Val enjoys crafting and knitting and sewing for our grandchildren.

There are miles of pristine beach across the road from the Nautica Complex and long walks on this beach with Table Mountain as a backdrop are the ramblers dream. Alternatively one can walk on the boardwalk which stretches from in front of Nautica all the way to the famous "Ons Huisie" restaurant and onto Big Bay with it's wide choice of restaurants. For the less strenuous, a five minute walk to the Bloubergstrand circle puts you in touch with the many restaurants and night spots that service this popular locale. Also an equally short walk away is the MyCiti bus network which will give you access to places such as the V & A Waterfront, the CBD of Cape Town and the Cape Town International Airport. For wine lovers, the Durbanville wine route is only a few kilometers away and the other wine routes in Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschoek are easily accessible from the Nautica complex. Bayside Mall which caters for most shoppers tastes is less than 3 kilometers from the apartment and the newly opened Table Bay Mall has virtually everything a shopper would want.
