Situated at the confluence of the Crocodile and Komati Rivers, Komatipoort is one of the hottest towns in South Africa, with an average temperature of 26 degrees in winter! In summer the average temperature is 33 degrees. Komatipoort also servers as a customs port because of its location near the Lebombo border of Mozambique and Managa or Jeppiesreef of Swaziland.
