Acorn House is situated in an early 20th-century residence and features views of Lion’s Head, Table Mountain and the City. The property has an outdoor pool surrounded by lush gardens. Our rooms have hardwood floors and come equipped with air conditioning, a smart TV, and international power adapters. All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower or shower-in-bath, bath gowns, luxury amenities, and bed linen. Breakfast is served in our dining room or around the pool. Coffee and tea are complimentary during the guests’ stay and can be enjoyed in the room, on the terrace near the pool, or in our cozy lounge. We are closely situated to the Government Gardens, V&A Waterfront, Camps Bay, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Constantia Wine Estates, and Kloof & Bree Street for local restaurant experiences.

Our Guesthouse: A lovingly restored 8-bedroomed guesthouse with panoramic views, built in 1904, full of character and Heritage. Our guesthouse is located in Oranjezicht, a residential suburb of Cape Town, nestled on the slope of Table Mountain, overlooking the Table Mountain cable car, Lion's Head, the City and Table Bay. We offer a generous and sumptuous two course breakfast, all day complimentary filter coffee and a variety of teas during your stay. Our rooms and suites are individually decorated, full of character and furnished with luxury bedlinen and bathroom amenities. Guests are invited to make use of a wide variety of refreshments on offer while enjoying the views from around the crystal-clear pool and our lush garden. Be our guest and make yourself at home while exploring Cape Town, its surroundings and all it has to offer.

Acorn House Surroundings: Acorn House is located in Oranjezicht, a prime residential area in Cape Town on the foot of Table Mountain. The city centre, V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain and beaches are down the road from the guesthouse and only a few minutes drive away. The Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cape Town wine estates and other attractions are easily accessible by car or the Hop On/Hop Off bus. Local restaurants and bars are closeby with a delicious deli restaurant situated opposite the road of the guesthouse.
