Hi there, we are the proud owners of Affi lande boetiek guest farm. We bought this property in 2013.It was just an old sandstone farm house over a 100 years old. We started renovating,building and gardening.Today Leon,my husband,and myself are proud to show off our stunning guest farm.I am an ex school teacher with an art background.I love interior design,gardening,building,architecture,oil painting,sculpturing,nature,animals and people.I am an outgoing person with good people skills and love to entertain and spoil people and animals.This guest farm is my passion.

Informazioni sulla struttura

Set in the spectacular Eastern Free State and surrounded by the magnificent Witteberg Mountains, Rooiberg Mountains and the Maluti Mountains, Affi Lande Boetiek Guest Farm is a sandstone mountain retreat which is excitingly different. It is situated 5 km from the Kwela 2013 town of the year, Fouriesburg, 35 km from Clarens and 10 km from the Caledon border post to Lesotho. All 3 of the chalets are fully equipped for self-catering, fitted with a kitchen, a large patio, a built-in sandstone braai and fireplace, daybeds and quality tables and chairs. All chalets are private and spacious with 2 bedrooms, each with it's own en-suite bathroom, queen-size bed with Egyptian cotton linens and down feather duvets and pillows. The kitchen comprises a stove with an oven, a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and cutlery and crockery. You can cuddle up on a comfy couch in front of the fireplace in Bloureën chalet or enjoy a board game whilst sipping on a complimentary glass of sherry. The only 2 units that is not self-catering is the Hartbeeshuisie and the Studio, but it offers tea- and coffee-making facilities and the Hartbeeshuisie has a big private boma with table and chairs.

We live on a farm but is a stone throw away from the R26 and is a mere 5km away from the quint little,sleepy village,Fouriesburg,that was crowned the "Town of the year" award in 2013,hosted by the TV program,"Kwela".Fouriesburg is surrounded by mountains and the Maluti mountains can be seen from every angle.The Caledon border post to Lesotho is only 8km away and Afriski resort,80 km.Katse dam is 90km away.This area is very rich in history and many memorial sites and history sites can be visited.It is also a 4x4 and hiking paradise.The amazing water tunnels are a must seen nature wonder.There is a breathtaking castle,right out of a Spielberg movie that is a must on your to-do list.We are only 30km away from Clarens and in between all the cherry farms for cherry plucking in the cherry season.The cherry festival starts here.It is a peaceful community where peace prospers and crime is out of season.
