African Leaves is a trout lodge located just 26 kilometres outside Dullstroom, Mpumalanga. It is a trout lodge also known for providing Mac Nabs in the winter, corporate getaways as well as golf weekends. It is regarded as an excellent fishing spot by members of the Gauteng Fly Fishing Club, is a part of the ‘Zuikerboschhoek Bewarea’ and is home to fallow deer, ‘blesbok’ and other species of wildlife. There is a natural waterfall and 2 km’s of natural river running through the forest. There are two houses situated on the property: - Oak House (5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, sleeps 10 pax) - Silo Lodge (3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 6 pax) Each house has their own dam in front of them for fly-fishing. There is a distance of approx. 700m as well as a third dam separating the houses, providing guests with the necessary privacy to enjoy their weekend away. The houses can be booked separately, or combined, accommodating 16 guests in total. We are pet friendly for up to 4 small to medium sized breed dogs which should be well trained.
