Please note, therefore, that guests must be comfortable enough with each other to enter main bedroom (if additional bedroom is occupied) to use the bathroom and kitchenette.

Kings Hill is a quiet, peaceful, upmarket, green and child-friendly suburb bordering Platberg Nature Reserve (with Park Run on Saturdays, training dams for long swim events, and extensive road network for exploring and hiking Platberg mountain - 2400 m summit elevation). Rose Park Shopping Centre (with SPAR supermarket & TOPS, La Familia Restaurant) is 1 km down the road; town centre 2 km away (all main amenities, including banks, available); Close to northern exit from/onto N3 (JHB/DBN) and N5 (Bethlehem).
Half-way between Johannesburg and Durban (time-wise closer to Johannesburg: 3 hours from OR Thambo International). Our location provides easy access for day trips: Royal Natal National Park 1 hour away; Sterkfontein Dam half an hour; Sentinel Chain Ladder Car Park 2 hours; Golden Gate Highlands National Park 1 hour; Clarens 1 hour 15 minutes; Memel & Seekoeivlei 1/1,5 hour. Ideal birding country for rare and endangered grassland birds, as well as game viewing Highveld animals (Black Wildebeest, Blesbok, Zebra, Springbok, etc.). Cultural sites such as historic passes, Kerkenberg, Retief Klip and Kaalvoetvrou Monuments various distances. 35 minutes to QwaQwa Campus for visiting academics to the University of the Free State. All main roads good tar suitable for all vehicles; secondary roads preferably traversed in a 'bakkie' (pickup) or higher clearance vehicle - 4x4 not necessary except for Sentinel Car Park road and some obscure passes into KwaZulu-Natal. One of the most spectacular parts of South Africa to live, work and play in!
