Being Danish and spending many years in Cape Town (SA married) and previously working with Scandinavian airlines in Copenhagen, it was a natural step after buying this lovely property, to offer a special base for local and overseas visitors to Cape Town. My favourite hobby is traveling, and having been lucky enough to visit all the Continents (except The icy South) I have a good understanding of our guests needs as well as Zoliwe our housekeeper, who has been working at Barry Hall since inception 19 years ago. We love sharing "our " City with the World.

We fell in love with this beautiful 100 year Manor house some 18 years ago, bought it, and proceeded to totally renovate the apartments. The combination of its ideal location on the Atlantic Seaboard within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and splendid Beach promenade has made the property a favourite place to stay in Cape Town. In addition one of our housekeepers Zoliwe has been with us since the inception of Barry Hall Apartments, who provides a welcome familiar face to our many repeat guests. We enjoy meeting guests from all parts of the World, and to share our wonderful city with them.
