The house is on Hout Bay beach (with direct beach access), in a security estate with an electric fence and manned security cameras. There is no road between the house and the beach. Only 15 minutes drive from Cape Town. With the beach on the south and a river mouth on the east, the house is walking distance from attractions like Hout Bay Harbour and Chapman's PeakDrive as well as shops and restaurants. The house is directly accessed from an automated secure double garage in the basement (There is a power back-up system, so it is unaffected by power cuts).
