Nestled in a tranquil and secluded cul-de-sac in the heart of Durban North you will find the enchanting Beckenham Place Guest Cottage. The property boarders Bridgevale Park which is an indigenous tree oasis filled with abundant bird life and walking paths. This cottage boasts a beautifully appointed bedroom with Queen sized bed, crisp percale linen and quirky en suite bathroom. The kitchenette, dinning area flow into the sunny lounge which opens onto a private courtyard with outside dinning area. The property is walled with an automatic gate, 24 hours security and camera surveillance. It has its own off road parking and entrance. A lush courtyard separates the main house from the cottage this courtyard is home to our two small, friendly dogs Crunchie and Cupcake which guests may see on arrival an departure.
I grew up in Zululand and after completing my schooling and studies in Pietermaritzburg I worked and traveled overseas. Finally I returned to Durban to study further and met my husband. I have enjoyed living in Durban for the past 30 years with its wonderful sunny weather and sparkling Indian Ocean. My two passions are travel and reading.
The cottage is situated in a beautiful safe leafy suburb of Durban North. Ideally located close to Durban's Golden Mile beaches, Umhlanga Rocks with its vibrant strip and magnificent promenade. If you're in town for sporting events all the sports stadiums are within a ten minute drive. Another attraction that is close at hand is the magnificent internationally renowned Durban Country Club Golf Course. If its shopping you're wanting Gateway and La Lucia Shopping Malls are in close proximity. King Shaka International Airport is a mere 20kms away.
