I am from Bloemfontein and I moved to Knysna in 2017 with my wife. We started hosting on Airbnb and 6 months later the house was destroyed during the Knysna fires. We immediately started planning and constructing a new house. It was a wonderful experience to be the project manager of your own project. The Bell tavern, Knysna’s tiniest and most charming pub, tucked within the historic Belvidere Manor and nearby, a quaint Coffee Shop beckons with artisanal roasts and fresh pastries. Belvidere is known for its historic Holy Trinity Church which was consecrated in 1855. A mooring for a boat, smaller than 6 meters or 19 feet can be arranged at the jetty in front of the house.
