Sirimiri Cottage (Sirimiri means fine rain or mist in Spansh Basque) has just recently undergone a 6 month long refurbishment, we have redone every part of the house to suit our desire for a comfortable holiday home. We gutted both the bathrooms and redid them for a more modern feel. We have installed a pressure pump and constant temperature gas geyser to ensure an excellent shower (or bath) We sorted out practical issues around water supply and electricity. We erected water tanks and installed an integrated Inverter and battery system with solar panels. This ensures 5000l of water is available when the municipal supply is problematic and even better, without any input, load shedding is dealt with by the inverter system! The battery takes care of all the lights in the house, WIFI, TV, Fridge for up to 10 hours, if gas rather than the induction plate is used to boil the kettle. All the outside lights are solar and automatic. The house is well equipped and very easily hosts 6 people without feeling crowded.

This is the second property we have made available, the other is in Hoedspruit, Memories Made Cottage. This is our "thing", with all that is going on around us at present, we want to encourage people to take some time out and make memories!
