Bridgeview is a peaceful, country cottage situated just outside Hopetown. You can relax and unwind while enjoying the Karroo landscape and views of the historical old bridge over the Orange River. You have exclusive use of the cottage and are not surrounded by other guests. The covered patio has wifi signal so so are able to work while enjoying nature. Barbeque facilities are available with wood and charcoal provided. The kitchen is fully equipped. A generator is available until 8 pm if necessary during loadshedding. Premium DSTV as well as an aircon are available.
As your hosts, we, Ben and Margo will be here to welcome you and help you settle in. We live in the next door property and are always available to assist, should you need anything.
We love meeting new people and seeing them enjoy the surroundings and start to relax. Ben enjoys explaining the history of the bridge and surrounds. Your pets are welcome to visit .
Hopetown is a small Karoo Town and the perfect stopover between Johannesburg and Capetown. The cottage is elegantly furnished and secluded . There is a wide variety of birds in the area and a bird book and smaĺl binoculars are provided for viewing while visiting. There are walks down to the Orange River and over the Bridge. Klipkraal is a nearby "padstal" with delicious meals. Also of interest is the nearby Orania community, .
