Chill-Ax Cottages offers self-catering accommodation with a private entrance, located in Sea Park in Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal. These units are an ideal choice for friends and family who are looking for a comfortable stay while on holiday in this coastal town. This is not a party destination, but for families and those looking for a comfortable relaxed getaway. Guests have a choice between 2 cottages depending on their needs. Both units feature private entrances, comfortable beds, private bathrooms, furnished living rooms, Smart TVs and equipped kitchens. Linen is provided, however, guests are required to bring their own beach towels. Access to Wi-Fi is available. Smart tv with NETFIX and PRIME Video. (please use the profile set up for your unit) Sadly, no DSTV provided, but you can stream with your own account. Partial sea views can be seen from the property. Guests have access to braai facilities and there is on-street parking. This property is within close proximity to local amenities like the beach, shops and restaurants. There is an on-site caretaker. Incoming and outgoing cleaning is taken care of, but for additional cleaning, or other services, such as washing, ironing dishes, bed-making etc. can be booked directly for a small fee payable directly to him.
This is not just an investment for our retirement, but it is our home away from home. We have opened up for guests and hope you will enjoy too. This is not a Party destination. This is more for families and those looking for a comfortable relaxed getaway.
Quiet and out of the way- only 7km from Port Shepstone. There are excellent Fishing spots in the area. Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve is only 35km away. It is one of South Africa's most spectacular gorges, 24 kilometres long and about 400 metres deep with forests, cliffs, rivers and ravines and some amazing hiking trails and of course wild 5 adventure which includes the famous Gorge swing. (Visitors are, however, advised not to swim or paddle in the river because of the risk of contracting bilharzia) Nearest golf courses are in Port Shepstone (7 km) , Southbroom Golf Club (30km) and San Lameer (37km)
