Die Hoenderhok and Die Plaashuisie is situated on a farm about 10 min.drive from Swellendam.The century old cottages are overlooking a field of cows.The old buildings are restored to comfortable accommodation.The decor is beautiful with special attention to detail.Both cottages have an inside fireplace or braai which makes winter evenings cosy and warm.The valley is awesome and overlooks the Langeberg mountains.Die Hoenderhok is ideal for a family with bedrooms in the loft.Die Plaashuisie is the smaller unit for a couple and the perfect romantic getaway.Both cottages are self-catering units.Bedding and towels are provided.The cottages are equiped with a fridge/freezer,microwave oven and cooking plates in the kitchen.The bathrooms have a shower,washbasin an toilet.There is electricity and a television.
Die Hoenderhok and Plaashuisie are on a farm 10 km from town (only 1,5km dirt road) and easy to reach.The neatest restaurant/bistro is 5km away.Many more shops and restaurants in town.It is very safe,peaceful and quiet on the farm.Guests come here to rest.There is a small river in which chidren love to play.You can also enjoy a walk on the farm and watch the cows and calves in the field.
