Dornoch is a stylishly appointed luxury studio apartment on the picturesque and secure Gowrie Farm Golf Estate in the heart of the KZN Midlands.
The apartment includes a fully equipped kitchenette, an en-suite bathroom and a garden with gas braai and outdoor seating.
Dornoch forms part of the main Prestwick-on-Gowrie homestead (a separate listing) and is rented privately to those looking for a peaceful place to relax and revive.
Access is via a private roadside gate with roadside parking.
The open-plan kitchenette has a full-size fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, gas stove, electric oven, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, cutlery, crockery and glassware, sink, cleaning materials and an iron and ironing board.
The bed can be configured as a king or two singles with cotton linen supplied. Electric blankets are available during winter months, as well as an oil heater.
The flat-screen TV has a full DSTV bouquet and Netflix and Showmax services.
A dressing table/workstation, Wi-Fi, built-in cupboards with shelving and hanging space and a storage area for suitcases are included.
The bathroom includes 2 basins, a shower, a toilet, towels, heated towel rails and under-floor heating.
The studio apartment is equipped with an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) which kicks in automatically in the event of a power failure or load shedding.
The quaint outdoor garden has a gas braai and outdoor dining table and chairs.
Should guests require assistance during their stay, the manager of the property, Jess Davies, resides on Gowrie Farm and is available via phone or in person.
Gowrie Farm is a guarded residential estate with onsite security and 24-hour surveillance. Access is strictly controlled making it a safe estate to walk within and enjoy.
Nottingham Road is a farming community of great beauty. The small town boasts a Spar grocery store, butcheries, bakery, doctor, gym, pharmacy, library, barber and hairdresser, liquor store, restaurants and pubs, coffee shops, markets, toy shop, spas, small retail outlets and child-friendly restaurants with playgrounds.

Guests require their own transport to get around but a few retailers and restaurants are within walking distance of the property.
Parking in Nottingham Road is free and readily available.
