Eagles' Call has been a dream of mine come true. I have created a birder's paradise by planting an abundance of indigenous plants and trees and kept the garden and surrounding areas as natural as possible. We are nestled in a bowl of peace and tranquility with clear night skies and abundant bird calls - including those of the Fish Eagle. The Knysna Loerie is a daily visitor. I have a very crude agility course for my adored Border Collie, Thandi. If you are a nature lover you will have a wonderful holiday with us. Our accommodation is a perfect get away in these difficult times of Covid 19. Our Cottage, Chalet and Tent are in different sections on the property. There is no need for guests to intermingle with other guests,management or staff. There are walks and wonderful braai areas which allow you to spend sun filled tranquil hours in the outdoors.
My favourite thing to do is to train, walk and play with my Border Collie, Thandi. I go for regular walks with her on one of our beautiful beaches. I am also an avid gardner and do a lot of hiking on some of the most beautiful trails in the Garden Route. My husband and I also play a lot of card games, especially bridge. So if you would like to get away for a few days of bridge, just let us know .
Eagles' Call is nestled between the Langevlei and Rondevlei lakes. The people living in this area are very conscious of the environment and endeavor to preserve the very rich bird life which exist here. We lie directly between Sedgefield and Wildernis. These are two small towns where you will have to do your shopping etc. All beaches etc are in close proximity. Brown Hooded Kingfisher Trail, Half Collared Kingfisher Trail and Molerat Trail are a few kilometers away. A walk can be taken to the Rondevlei and Malachite Bird Hides.
