Eagles Rest Cottage offers comfortable accommodation in a self-catering cottage, situated 9 km outside Greytown on the R74. The cottage offers beautiful views from the veranda and guest areas, and is ideal for both business and leisure travellers. If visitors wish to have breakfast, they are welcome to contact the host to request breakfast at an additional charge. The cottage is tastefully furnished with modern furniture and comprises 3 guest rooms, accommodating 6 guests in total. The cottage comprises a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, air-fryer, an oven and stove, a microwave and dishwasher, and the lounge is equipped with a TV with full DStv package and Netflix. Free Wi-Fi is available. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer available. From the veranda, guests can enjoy a stunning view of the dam and a variety of bird species. We do allow catch and release bass fishing during the day until 17:00. At 17:00 we feed our two resident fish eagles and guests can watch this while sipping on a sundowner on the veranda. Braai facilities are provided for guests use, along with wood and charcoal.

This area is well known for its excellent farming and has a friendly close-knit farming community. Here at Eagles Rest we are proud of the two magnificent Eagles that inhabit this farm. Feel free to watch the Eagles feed in the afternoons from the luxury of your veranda whilst enjoying a refreshing beverage or a good cup of tea.
