We love meeting people from all over the world and from all walks of life. I love to hear where guests have been and are going to when they leave us. I especially enjoy talking to overseas visitors who are seeing South Africa for the first time and hearing about their experiences. We would love to share our little part of paradise with you.

Our guests and their well being is of paramount importance to our staff. We want you to feel welcome and taken care of while you relax in our beautifully decorated guesthouse. We serve a great breakfast and if you have any specific dietary requirements we will do our utmost to provide those for you. We are here to cater for all your needs where possible. The atmosphere in the guesthouse is very relaxed and despite the fact that we are only 15 minutes away from the hub of Umhlanga it is very quiet and peaceful.

Forest Manor is situated in a very quiet neighborhood but places like the King Shaka International airport, uShaka Marine World, Durban City Center and the ICC are only 20 minutes from us. In the Umhlanga Village which is less than 10 minutes away by car you will find cuisine of any kind you may want. Whether it is a good steak at Little Havana or a lovely plate of real Italian food at Angelo's, a strong Durban curry at Cumin Cafe or anything from vegetarian to seafood at Mediterranean Olive & Oil we have it all close by.
