Highrocks has been voted a Top 10 Getaway Magazine Beach House in South Africa. This 5 bedroom, 4 ensuites, with a massive bunk room, beach house overlooks the beautiful Widenham Bay. When you are on the deck you literally feel like you can step onto the Indian Ocean. Three of the ocean-facing rooms, the beds are king -size, one cannot understate the importance of this. The bunk room has 2 singles, and 2 3/4 beds, plus mattresses if more children need to stay in here with their siblings and friends. A sunken fire pit adds to the vibe., and the fire pit is away from the wind. Direct beach access although steep allows for more privacy when there. A little bench on the path is wonderful for a sunset beverage or a rising cup of coffee. Parking is plentiful, and the driveway is cut into the indigenous bush, allowing for wonderful bird life. The shade provides a canopy for the cars and the guests alike.

The neighbourhood is primarily a diving town. Aliwal Shoal is one of the most diverse reefs in the world. From the renowned ragged tooth shark, to Zambezi and Tiger shark sightings, the marine life is extensive. The Umkomaas Golf Course is 1 km walk from the beach house. Some wonderful little bars and cafes are within a 2km radius of the house as well. The beaches are incredible, and the fishing, surfing and spearing is outstanding.
