Conveniently situated close to town in the well-known Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate - which is a beautiful, conserved part of the Lowveld bushveld and the privileged few that own and liver here on this exclusive estate enjoy the company of the gentler side of Africa. The estate is 700ha in extent, of which less than half has been demarcated in half-hectare free-range properties. More than a quarter of these properties have been developed into beautiful residential homes and bush lodges. Not only do residents enjoy the beautiful side of Africa in this secure estate but supportive infrastructure and utilities are of high quality including excellent security and tar roads. The estate situated on the edge of town offers pristine Lowveld bush with abundant birdlife, and plains game such as warthog, impala, duiker, bushbuck, waterbuck, giraffe, kudu, zebra, wildebeest, and the occasional hyena, wild dog and leopard. Beautiful game drive routes have been laid out within the so-called greenbelt of the estate. This area features 3 dams and bird hides for the enjoyment of homeowners and Lodge guests. Horse and cycling trails are available and cycling and jogging is a frequent past time.
I am born and bred South African, husband to Carole (French origin) and father to two adult children, Mathieu and Marine.
I work in the tourism industry (Incoming Tour Operator for Southern Africa) and enjoy meeting people from all nationalities, and I love sharing the beauty of our part of the world with them.
Whilst Hoedspruit is a small, quiet, secure town, it has all the facilities necessary for a comfortable life in the bush, from Pick ‘n Pay and Spar to great restaurants, nothing is more than 10 minutes away from you here in the Estate.
