We converted our outside buildings into a granny flat consisting of a bedroom, lounge, kitchenette and bathroom. The building is behind our house giving it privacy. Hosting guests here began a few months back and is our "part time job"! It is great way to meet new people and earn a little in the process.

I am a retired preschool teacher and Ian is in construction after having farmed for many years. While we give guests the privacy they prefer we are available, most of the time, to answer queries or provide assistance if we can. Meeting new people is refreshing and interesting as everyone travels for different reasons. We enjoy welcoming visitors from overseas as we ourselves have not traveled much. Having guests from far allows us the world to come to us! We have brochures about places to visit in our area available in the flatlet. A full DStv bouquet is available so any sport or other programmes you enjoy watching can be viewed. We look forward to hosting you at our little home from home!

Our immediate neighbourhood is quiet and safe. It is close to shops, restaurants and nearby Richards Bay shopping centers, beaches and other places of interest. We are centrally situated in the area and it is an hours drive from here to most of the local places of interest such as the Hluhluwe uMfolozi game reserve, St Lucia with its hippo and crocodile viewing barge trips. For those interested in history, Shakaland historical village, on the way to Eshowe, is very interesting.
