All the essentials are there – just bring your food, wine, a good book and don’t forget your walking shoes. Madeleine and Thelma cottages each have 2 bedrooms en-suite. The one bathroom also has an outside shower for an added element of romance. Speaking of which, when winter comes – there’s also a small feature fireplace that’s ready to keep things toasty with wood provided for you on arrival and heated blankets for bedtime. De Mond nature reserve is on the way to Struisbaai and Aghulas which is the most southern tip of Africa. Bredasdorp and Napier have many coffee spots, restaurants and shopping experiences. There are local wine farms to visit and local story tellers to listen to in this wonderful place.
