Karoo Ridge Conservancy is a 10 000 ha property with breathtaking vistas, crystal clear skies and farm from the madding crowd. Here we believe in farming for biodiversity where healthy herds of wildlife run alongside our indigenous cattle. Landscapes ranges from mountain tops, across the open plains to riverine thicket. Karoo Ridge hosts a superb diversity of both flora and fauna.
Our Eco-lodges have been carefully positioned to ensure our guests have spectacular views, complete privacy, Wifi/reception free and are tastefully decorated.
Karoo Ridge is owner run by Pete and Helen Wenham. They both have backgrounds in Nature conservation, Farming and tourism. They are passionate about conserving and love sharing their property with like minded guests.
The perfect spot to break ones journey between Johannesburg and the Western Cape. Travel the back roads to avoid the monotony of the N1. Our closest towns are Colesburg, Steynsburg and Middelburg. Close attractions include Gariep Dam, The Valley of desolation in Graaff-Reinet, Karoo River Rafting and Nieu Bethesda.
