I love the great outdoors and fresh air. I am an adventurer and always seeking out new experiences and offering the same to all of those who travel the globe in search of memorable epic moments.
I love to cook, and entertain, as well as have a passion and appreciation for beautiful things. Works of art. I paint myself. I work with Watercolour, acrylic and oils. I love colour and using it in a fresh unique way from wearing colourful scarves to arranging flowers in large glass vases.

Weltevreden Farm originally owned by Roelof Gerhardus Badenhorst in 1861, was initially very large andthe neighbourhoods of Northcliff, Berario and Corriemoor made up the expanse of the property in 1872. The Western side was transferred into C.J. Smit's name. In the beginning of the 20th Century, the farm was divided among the children. In 1936 Mr. Theunis Cronje bought a portion (20 hectares) from Cornelius Smit's grandchildren. Mr Cronje was the Headmaster of Fairland Laerskool (primary school). In 1951 he retired and the homestead was built, modeled off Groot Constantia in the Cape. He kept himself busy by farming flowers cut and delivered to Multiflora Flower Market in City Deep Johannesburg.Mr Cronje was one of the founders and also Director of Shipping of this Flower market for many years. This is where the names of the streets in the vecinity were derived, like the street name running in front of the guesthouse into the cul-de-sac, Calendula Avenue.

Roodepoort meaning 'red valley' in Afrikaans, is a sprawling residential area, in parts dominated by light industry and small businesses. It gets its name from the red soil in the area. It dates back to 1884, when Fred Struben discovered the pirst payable gold in the area of what he called the Confidence Reef, a large rocky outcrop in the centre of Roodepoort.
