Established in 2014, Kransplaas operates on 4620 hectares of which 2050 hectares are used for farming activities such as cattle and Lucerne fields. 2570 Hectares are set aside for wildlife and conservation. Kransplaas is an ideal overnight stop for long distance travellers or a getaway to rest, relax, refresh and recharge. The farm have two comfortable lodges. Nyala lodge with four bedrooms that can accommodate 8 people, and Springbok Cottage with one bedroom that can accommodate 4 people. Both offer: Wi-Fi, air-conditioning & heating, en-suite bathrooms with shower, basin and toilet, good quality twin beds, telephone, hairdryer, emergency lighting, bathroom amenities. Our standard is twin beds but we can convert to king beds on request.

Come and discover the historical town of Graaff Reinet, surrounded by the Camdeboo National Park, situated in the park is The Valley of Desolation. The region is world- renowned for its richness of pre-dinosaur fossils. Some of the earliest forms of one-celled life have been discovered here, indicating that life has existed in this region for three billion years.
