This contemporary guest house is off the beaten track and away from the crowd. Set in a landscaped garden with a rim-flow pool and surrounded by indigenous forest. Lily Pond Country Lodge is situated 8 km from Nature’s Valley and 18 km from Plettenberg Bay, amidst walking trails and outdoor activities. Lily Pond boasts luxuriously decorated rooms and suites fitted with modern, African-style furniture and deluxe bedding. Each room’s patio has a gravel floor and comfortable deck chairs with views over the lily ponds. A restaurant with vegetarian options is available on site, and fresh Continental and full English breakfast options are served on the spacious patio.(dinner reservation upon on arrival is important) Guests can also relax on the veranda with a glass of wine or beer, and enjoy views of the infinity pool and colourful lily ponds. The lodge also offers massages on request. Lily Pond Country Lodge is less than 10 minutes’ drive from Nature Valley Beach and lagoon. Tsitsikamma National Park and natural rock formations at Arch Rock are less than 20 km away.

Owners Niels & Margret left the Netherlands and started and build Lily Pond Country Lodge in 2002. In the Netherlands we both were in the Dutch Navy till 1989 and later owned a distribution company for Life-style magazines. Passioned about food we added a dining possibility to the lodge and Margret begun as novice chef in the kitchen while Niels was the (also novice) waiter. Being more successful then she thought... we opened our restaurant for our guests in 2005. Together with this alteration we also adde 4 new luxury garden suites. During the winter in 2016 we renovated all our en-suite rooms and luxury suite in the same style as the Luxury garden suites we build in 2005. Since 2016 we have 10 suites and a cosy Zen-style restaurant that we run together with our 12 enthusiastic staff members. After all these years of hard work we still enjoy our life style here in this beautiful part of South Africa. We are proud of our lodge and restaurant and look forward to share this with our guests. Not only Lily Pond Country Lodge, but this whole area has so much to offer that you will not regret your stay here close to Natures Valley en Plettenberg Bay. We speak English, German & Dutch

If you appreciate an unique tranquil stay, spacious suites in park like gardens and a restaurant on site with honest fresh food and daily changing menu then you are more then welcome. Close to Natures Valley's beach and lagoon. 20 km from Plettenberg Bay. You can expect a boutique accommodation that is "Refreshingly chic with an African touch".

The Crags -a rural village- just around the corner of Lily Pond and adjacent Tsitsikamma National Park, boosts a lot of activities like Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Jukani, Tenikwa Wildlife Centre, Elephant Sanctuary, Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary. Beautiful polo fields at Kurland Estate. A growing number of Wine Estates like Bramon, Newstead, Kay & Monty are within a 5 minutes drive. Natures Valley Beach is a 7 minute drive and 2 golf courses are within 20km. The Highest Bunghy Jump, Storms River and Touristic village PlettenBerg Bay are only 15km away. At Lily Pond you can walk in our indigenous forest or around the ponds and relax in the shade on one of the wooden decks at the rimflow pool. Beautiful trails in all different degrees of difficulty and a a paradise for mountain bikers.
