Lorelei Beachfront Cottage comprises the two upstairs bedrooms and part of downstairs of the original Lorelei House which dates from 1904 and is one of the original houses in Kommetjie. Built from Table Mountain sandstone, the Cottage and House feature original oregon pine floors, sash windows with shutters, and is only metres from the sea. The Cottage is accessed via a separate private entrance to the main House. The interior woodwork in the bedrooms is original tongue and groove, and the Cottage has been decorated sympathetically to maintain the original feel of the house. Light, airy, with views of the ocean from every window, and the sound of the sea to soothe you to sleep at night. There is a large deck accessed from the dining room, and which includes the swimming pool, sun loungers, a large outside dining area, and also a sunken fire pit and BBQ area. The views of the beach and ocean are completely unobstructed, and the sunsets are always spectacular.
