We are an Italian-french family moved in the beautiful South Africa fews years ago to live our dream.. We found our piece of land and built our estate from scratch. We love our guests feeling as if they're home away from home.

Accommodation includes 8 boutique Manor House rooms and 3 bespoke three-bedroomed villas. Discover the hideaway boma, mini-island in the freshwater dam and the private river deck with beach area. Meander through the fruit trees, olive grove and Shiraz vineyard and enjoy the activities offered on-site. Activities include picnics, river tubing, kayaking, the bike pump track, Olympic length swimming training lanes in the dam, running track, zipline, rugby/soccer field, spa, mobile gym, pony riding and meeting some of the rescue donkeys and horses. Ludus Magnus is highly sought after for romantic getaways, family stays and intimate weddings. Located 20 minutes from the historic and arty town of Franschhoek with its world class restaurants. Also conveniently located under an hour from Cape Town International Airport and the city centre.
