A Beautiful Bed and Breakfast in Franschhoek Mirabelle Guesthouse is situated on the edge of Franschhoek, a 15-minute walk from town, with mountain views to leave you breathless, this beautiful, guesthouse offers you two options during your stay in Franschhoek. The beautiful, thatched villa that was transformed into a true Franschhoek Bed & Breakfast offers an intimate tucked-away home. The newly built more contemporary villa with high ceilings in the lounge gives you a feeling of space and comfort. At Mirabelle Guesthouse the choice between a traditional or a more contemporary feel welcomes you each time you arrive at the guesthouse. The swimming pool compliments the two buildings as the centerpiece of the garden with an al fresco outdoor entertainment area on both sides of the pool.
Owners Eric and Jenny de Wit welcome you to their home in Franschhoek. Although their permanent residence is Breda, The Netherlands, they have a passion for Franschhoek and spend many weeks at their oasis in the African sun.
Franschhoek is a burgh in South Africa Western Cape with centuries-old vineyards and Cape Dutch ecclesiology. This small village is nestled at the bottom of a fertile valley in the heart of the Cape Winelands, surrounded by green hills and an endless stern of grapevines. The village has an absorbing French past with magnificent wine possession and small French bakeries. Although Franschhoek is small, it is huge on the culinary scene. The quint main road is lined with boutique and artisan restaurants that have been richly decorated with all kinds of awards. As the village is rich in French History (Franschhoek means - French Corner in Dutch). Franschhoek offers over 25 major wine estates in the area surrounding the quint village, including some of South Africa’s most respected names in winemaking. The valley is small and easy to explore, suffice to say you will not be short of options! From walking the village, cycling, or jumping on the Wine Tram, there is something for all to do during your stay. Franschhoek will pretty soon be a special place close to your heart.
