We are situated on the outskirts of the village of Himevile in the Southern Drakensberg. the area is characterised by the abundance of clear river, lakes and dams. We enjoy the unimpeded views over open fields and wetlands towards the dramatic mountain splendour of the Southern Drakensberg escarpment.

Our location just off the junction leading towards the Sani Pass makes us the ideal "base camp" for a trip either with your own 4x4 vehicle or with a tour operator to the top of the pass and beyond into the kingdom of Lesotho.

We will be happy to arrange for guided hikes to legendary rock art sites, birding or excursions on horse-back. Pilots sometimes fly in with their own aircraft to Himeville airstrip and we are always happy to arrange for a lift.
