Ndiza Lodge: A panoramic view of the Indian Ocean, Mapelane, the Umfolozi River mouth and part of famous Lake St Lucia, sets Ndiza Lodge apart as the place with two views. Relax in the pool on the deck, enter the tranquil garden with a walkway and deck deep into the wetland itself, enjoy a sundowner on the upper deck or simply experience true tranquility whilst enjoying spectacular views! This deck has a built in braai with rotiserie that guests are most welcome to use. From this deck Ndiza's guests can spot the whales on their way to the warmer Mosambican waters.
The spacious bedrooms are all air conditioned, en suite, equipped with a fridge and mini bar, snacks, TV with DSTV and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Double rooms have direct access to a wooden deck with furniture, overlooking the tropical garden.
Both Glenn and myself are passionate about Ndiza and ensure that our guests receive only the best. I believe in giving my guests privacy once they have check in although I am always around. Glenn is a SA angler and is ecstatic if he can be on the beach with a fishing rod in his hand. He will gladly assist guests should they wish to try their hand at a bit of angling while on holiday.
Kwa Zulu Natal abounds with Nature Reserves and Game Parks, which offer a diversity of Wild Life experiences and Nature Trails, from Birding and Rambling outings in Indigenous Forests to breathtaking Trails through the Wetlands and Coast Line. A number of restaurants are nearby – all too good to mention one! Our guests will be assisted with all Acttivities or Tours, such as: Boat trips Bowls Crocodile Farm trips Cultural site seeing Dolphin watching Game reserve trips – Visit the Big Five Hhluwe e-Imfolozi game reserve and Cape Vidal. Glenn has his SA colours in angling, and will be delighted to assist guests with rock and surf, drop shot, Jet Ski or deep sea fishing. In our garden you will find a walkway leading to a deck in the wetlands for the avid bird watcher.
