Orchard Cottage is a beautiful self-catering cottage situated in McGregor, Western Cape. It can accommodate up to 4 adult guests and has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a small open-plan living room and kitchen area.
The main bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom has twin single beds. The first bathroom has a bath, toilet, and basin, and the second bathroom has a shower, toilet, and basin.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering (includes a microwave, small stove, kettle, toaster, full-size fridge-freezer, and a coffee-maker). The lounge has a romantic fireplace for the cold winter months, a flat screen TV with Netflix. The lush garden features barbecue facilities for relaxed entertaining and children's play area with a swing and sand pit. A small pool is open during the summer months (Oct to March)
Secure parking in a cul-de-sac at the end of a private road is available. The cottage is in a gated complex.

Ten minutes’ drive from Robertson you will find the small rural village of McGregor, set within the a valley surrounded by the hills and mountains. McGregor was established in 1862 (original name, Lady Grey). It was renamed McGregor in 1905 in honour of Andrew McGregor who had been the minister of the Dutch Reformed Church of the Robertson District for 40 years.
McGregor is a popular tourist destination due to its remote location and old-world charm. This small village is characterised by whitewashed cottages with lovely gardens. Hiking trails like the Boesmanskloof hiking trail, between McGregor and Greyton is very popular. Special places to visit during your stay are Eseltjiesrus Donkey Sanctuary, Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve, and the wine farms around McGregor.
