Prospect Farm Cottages offers self-catering accommodation located at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains in Geelhoutboom, George. This property is ideal for guests who want to escape the busy city life. Accommodation is provided in 2 thatched self-catering cottages. Each cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests at a time and comprises 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms have comfortable beds, quality linen, and bath towels. Each cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, lounge, and dining area with an electric fireplace. The units also have private braai facilities. For guests’ entertainment, there is a TV with DStv channels in each unit. Limited Wi-Fi is also available. Guests have access to a covered shared lapa, a stone swimming pool, and secure covered parking. There is also a kiddies play area and lush lawns for the children to enjoy. The farm and surroundings offer a variety of activities, namely safe and private walking and jogging routes in the natural forest as well as on the farm, mountain biking, picnics, fishing, golf, swimming beaches, or relaxing and enjoying the tranquility of the farm environment. Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the accommodation. Guests are required to enquire from the establishment about the condition of the gravel road before booking. This property is not affected by power outages, as backup power is provided through generators.

Our farm environment is very safe and we are also part of an active farm guard that promotes safety in the environment. Guests can therefore explore the surroundings with peace of mind through walking routes as well as cycling routes. The location of this property is approximately 12 km from Fancourt Golf Estate, 13 km from George Airport, 22 km from George Town Centre, and 22 km from the nearest beaches, namely Herolds Bay and Glentana.
