The house consists of six en-suite bedrooms. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, a 12-seater dining table, downstairs lounge and entertainment areas. In addition, there is an upstairs TV lounge. Guests love the indoor braai (barbecue) and pizza oven. There are fireplaces to keep you warm in winter. Exclusive-use pool overlooking the vlei with deck area for sunbathing and stunning views, plus outdoor showers for rinsing off the beach sand. Comes serviced, with secure parking and free WiFi. The property consists of two separate houses that are joined. The owners live on the one side and, available for lets, is the other side called Red Box. This is the house you are viewing. There are uninterrupted views over the vlei (grassy wetland). Neighbouring house only at the back of the property. The whole of the Red Box House is for guests exclusive use. Solar beach is a short 3 minute walk away. Plettenberg Bay is part of the Garden Route and is South Africa's premier holiday destination. It offers kilometers of pristine, Blue Flag beaches, trendy shops and world-class restaurants. Restaurants: Zinzi's, The Fat Fish, Look Out Deck, Equinox, Emily Moon, The Table, Enrico's, The German and many more. Sporting Activities: Golf, Tennis, Bowls, Beach and Forest Hiking, Bungee Jumping and Cycle routes. Other Activities: Storms River, Nature's Valley, Keurbooms, Whale and Dolphin watching. Elephant Safari's, Monkey Land, Radical Raptors. Wine tasting at local wine farms. Getting around There are flights directly to Plettenberg Bay airport from Johannesburg and Cape Town via Cem Air. The airport is 8.3km from the house. The house is a short, three minute walk up Hood Point Ave to Solar Beach. A car is essential as there is no public transport nearby. There are cabs (sadly no Uber), and car rental agents who will service your transport needs. The town is relatively small so travel times will not be more than a few minutes.
