Coming from a background of wildlife guiding and managing camps in private nature reserve, Angelique and I wanted somewhere that felt like we were still living in a natural area. We also wanted to contribute to the Garden Route by removing all non-native vegetation and restoring the land back to an original state, as well as trying to be as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible. Reflections has allowed us to do this. Since 2007 we have been completely off-grid using a solar and wind hybrid system as well as actively planting over 3500 trees allowing the flora and fauna to re establish.

Surrounded on 3 sides by the Garden Route National Park we are the ideal venue for people looking to be immersed in Nature. There are many beautiful walks available in the area and Swartvlei beach, 15 minutes away is a stunning beach for both swimming and walking. The nearest shops are in Sedgefield, about 20 minutes away and the town is also host, every Saturday, to 3 fantastic breakfast and craft markets. The birding is superb as is the total tranquility offered by a unique venue. We are completely Off-Grid in terms of our power although all comforts are catered for through extensive use of Solar Power. Continental breakfasts are offered on prior request and are served at your own private deck.
