The property is on a secure private estate with a variety of game. There are various buck, zebra and wildebeest roaming freely around the general area. The house is situated on the Olifants River with around 100m of waterfront. The area is a fisherman's paradise as there is an abundance of carp, bass and barbell in the river. The water is clear and clean and there is very little boat activity making it a wonderful spot for water skiing and water sports. The house has a private and secure mooring for a couple of boats and there is a communal slip way adjacent to the property. There is also an expansive lawn for fun in the garden with great patio views and braai facilities. The entire estate has a vast number of walking and mountain biking routes. The peaceful tranquility makes the need for a TV unnecessary. There are a number of pubs on the river accessible by boat or car. The bird life is prolific: giant kingfishers, spotted eagle owls and Goliath herons to name a few. There is an off road motorbike track on the estate.
