We are situated directly opposite the unfenced wild area of the Isimangaliso Wetland Park just 1 km from the entrance to Cape Vidal Wildlife Park in which we have Mission Rocks, a rocky shoreline for fishing, small rock pools to explore and a swimming beach further on within the wildlife park which is renowned for its beautiful white sands, snorkelling, fishing and scuba diving. The entire Isimangaliso Wetland Park spans many kms along the coastal area and is a world heritage site because of our unique estuary and wetlands. Big game that can be spotted are Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Leopard, Hyena, Hippo, Kudu, Nyala, numerous smaller buck species and all the interesting little creatures that live in the park. Birding is a favourite amongst birders. The park provides pretty much something for everybody.
We are new to the hosting community but having lived in St Lucia and having enjoyed the peace and tranquility and wonderful places to explore, we feel we’d love to have others experience our home and enjoy all that St Lucia has to offer.
A small little town, with a big heart that love to showcase their different types of cuisine all of which you will find along the Main Street. Well stocked supermarkets and bottle stores. A doctor and pharmacy are also available in town. Surf and clothing shops for items you may have left behind. ATMS so that you can draw cash should you need to. Photographic and printing shops and a few quaint little places along the way. There is a sea rescue situated in the heart of St Lucia for any emergencies. There is an information centre that will give you all the details for estuary tour boats, deep see fishing and whale watching.
