This property is in the old part of Napier, right on its outskirts next to farmlands and nature conservation areas. The property is spacious with lovely views across the "Ruens", the name for the rolling hills of the Overberg. Facing east the sunrises viewed from the stoep are often spectacular. The space lets us keep animals so you can enjoy watching the chickens and Muscovy ducks keep themselves busy - and enjoy fresh farm eggs for breakfast if you so wish. And let's not to forget our two pet sheep, Elmore and Howling-Wolf, who provide some mild amusement.

We love the rural life offered by this Overberg town, where the outdoors and nature are right on the doorstep. Our interests are nature conservation (we are members of the Napier Mountain Conservancy) and the heritage of Napier. As a builder, Ian is knowledgeable about the vernacular of the Overberg, restoring old buildings whenever the opportunity arises.

The neighbourhood is peaceful with a quiet rural feel, but close enough to amenities including local shops and good local restaurants. A circular gentle 3km walk or bike ride starts right at the front gate. (We have two mountain bikes which you are welcome to use).
