My name is Ericka Nienaber and I live on the farm since I was married to my husband, Josef 34 years ago. The farming includes, cattle, timber and vegetables.

Suikerbosskuur Rondavel and Chalet is situated on the farm Glen Eland, 15 km from Amsterdam in Mpumalanga South Africa. We are the owners of the farm which was bought by my husbands grandfather in 1945. The Chalet is the oldest building on the farm and we have renovated it about six years ago. The Rondavel is also an old building which was renovated five years ago. The interior of both the establishments are rustic. They both have fully equipped kitchens. Both establishments are inside a 100ha fence and small game, like Oribi and can be sighted.

Suikerbosskuur also has a venue where weddings, conferences, team building etc can take place. Our farm is situated near three big dams, Jericho, Morgenstond and Westoedam. We also have a large number of birds in our district and on our farm. Suikerbosskuur is the ideal place to sleep over when travelling from Kwazulu-Natal to the Lowveld or Kruger Park or vice versa.
